So after reading many tutorials on how to do the quad rear lights i thought I'd give it a bash.

First of all I pre did all the wiring for them and then ran the wire down to the boot well and then wired them up to the numberplate wires.

I tried to make the wire look as OEM as possible.

So this is how it looked before..

After finishing the drivers side in the day light..

And at night! :D

I'm really happy with the output at night, I did think I'd need LEDs to match the outers when I saw it in the daylight but at night it near enough looks identical! :)

Loving the look & the little mods mate. I was on the look out for a. TSI too but ended up with a GTI.
Have you got any plans for wheels or engine mods? Keep up the good work  :happy2:

Cheers mate, I do have some plans for some wheels but I'm moving to southampton so whilst saving for that Im saving for air and the wheels.
I've never seen them on a golf before so should be good!
And im thinking of getting a remap but I'm not really sure what else can be done to it as you dont see many TSI's around.

And I got home last night and finished the passenger side!

The output doesn't look the same in the picture but in person they are near on perfect so really chuffed with that!

So I had a quick drive to Doncaster at the weekend and picked up a Jetta front grill!  :happy2:

I'm going to attach the numberplate by using magnets so while im waiting for them to arrive I've just cable tied it to the grill, which im not that keen on but hopefully the magnets will arrive soon!

I got home earlier than normal the other day so I gave my engine bay a quick clean.

Please excuse the poor image quality, they were taken on my phone and it started getting dark!

I then found my carbon air filter i had shoved in the garage and put that on   I just need to buy some ducting for the cold air feed for it to be all done, but I am considering getting some different pipes and putting it more into the corner to fill up more space.

Just a small update..

I ordered some seat inserts and fitted them.

I also got some pressed plated delivered and fitted and with that I got some magnets and finally put my numberplate back on the grill!
Oh and a chrome lower grill! :happy2:

I stumbled across a product for the windscreen which is called g1 smart glass and I have to say I'm really impressed! It's a water repellent but when you accelerate you can literally watch the water droplets fall off the windscreen so hopefully these videos work and you can take a look!

And of course some beading shots
