LED Red Footwell
« on: October 16, 2013, 02:12:07 pm »
Looking to change the footwell lights for LED red ones.
Any recommendations? can bus error free.

Also would like them to stay on when headlights are on, does anyone know the coding for vcds?

Cheers

As far as Im aware it is only the exterior lights that have to be Canbus compatible.

Pretty sure you need a certain controller for that function although which one slips my memory. Talking about this the other to a member on here and then again to the forum guru Eddie-NL when I saw him recently.

I bought some for my GTI yonks ago.
Can't remember what ones. Just know they came from Ebay.
I remember reading footwell ones needed to be Canbus compatible so those are the ones I got.
Had no issues in the 18 months they were fitted.
