Time to make my Mark ........ 5!!!

Ok been on here a while now so thought as my Mk5 is going to be going through A lot of changes very soon it was time to make my build thread!!!  :smiley:

My 1st Mod... An Edition 30 Interior   :drool:




2nd Mod, Pioneer App Radio Headunit...






Since these pics ive been a very busy boy and have had the Headliner, A B & C pillars removed for trimming here in Northern Ireland and have the Dash Centre along with the Ashtray and Gear Gaitor surround stripped out and sent to Berkshire to Jairm off the forum here for trimmimg, few pics of what I have been left with...

This past few weeks have been like Christmas with all the parcels and things arriving at the house but here is a lil taster of the things to come and to keep your eyes peeled for!!!!  :wink:

Its Christmaaaas!!!!.......




So what was under all that wrapping? only a Brand New US Front Bumper...






Also on the list and Keeping it USA all the way, a US Rear...






US Heater controls, Lets crank it up to 80!!!! lol!!!!....




US Rear Fog/Reverse Light...

Few more Brand New Parts kindly supplied via my hard earned money from Mr Volkswagen

Anthracite Interior Trims...






Brushed Aluminium Switches....




Brand New Depo R32 Headlights....








And a Touch Of Class with a Bentley Fuel Cap fitted....








Car is off to the BodyShop for the next 2 weeks so as I say keep a wee eye out for some very tasty updates very soon!!!!   :drinking:

Looking great, thats some serious modification you've got going on already.  I'm sure it'll look spot on once everything's fitted.  Is it a 1.9 or 2.0 TDI?

Just out of curiosity is that Pioneer head unit have built in Sat-Nav or does it require your phone's GPS? If its built in I might have to look in to getting one myself.  Was it plug and play or did you need to update the electrics like with the later VW head units?
