Oh Dear Scottish Independence

Scottish Independence

If Scotland gains its independence after the forthcoming referendum, the remainder of the United Kingdom will be known as the "Former United Kingdom" (FUK).

In a bid to discourage Scots from voting 'yes' in the referendum, Liberal Democrats have now begun to campaign with the slogan “Vote NO, for FUK’s sake”

They feel that Scottish voters will be able to relate to this.

It would seem illogical or the scots to vote for independence without giving the rest of the UK a chance to have a say. I say the English have a referendum on whether we want the scots to stay as part of the UK or not, and the Welsh and Northern Ireland could also have a say.

That would prove interesting.

Might save the English a few quid if we don't have to pay for the Scots to go to University and free NHS prescriptions as well ... But I bet they would still want to keep that

I couldn't really give a monkeys either way.
Scotland will always be a part of England, after all we share common basis, language, financial institutions, etc.

If Scotland votes yes, they'll have greater benefits monetarily than what they get from UK, but they will have to give up all the independence in exchange.

Somewhere along the line someone is going to be making a shed load of cash.

Has anyone set a deadline for scotland returning all the car registration plates yet? That's going to be a bit of a chew on for someone to sort out how they're going to re register all the cars in scotland when the numberplates come back down to Swansea.

Being Scottish and proud ! And working in the oil and gas industry the time to be Independant would of been 20 years ago not now ! We have greatly depleted our natural reserves although I do believe we have a Nicky exploitable reserve left over.
The only people that will vote for independence will be bedroom tax chavs - like most of my mates  and teenagers ! However most of the people in Scotland With half a brain will realise for every two workers there's nearly one public sector worker and this can't be supported ! Plus we have faslane nsb which we would ultimately loose at a cost of thousands of jobs to scotland !!

GB stronger together !!!!

It's only 94% actually. And running out faster than they'd like, by all accounts.

I hope it will also be Scotland to pay for every union flag in the world to be replaced by the new one without the blue in it.
