RNS 510 Firmware 4120
« on: March 01, 2014, 07:48:16 pm »
 :happy2:

Just updated my RNS to 4120.
I now have access to the secret menu and Radio text such as Artist etc.

Pretty chuffed, only problem my dual layer disc didn't work as I planned to install v10 maps but hey oh can't have it all.

I've just ordered v10 on the internet for £20 which takes away the hassle of burning etc as I only have a Mac and I spent 4 hours today at a mates using his Windooze PC installing Nero etc so I could burn the v10.

I have a C unit so I assume 4120 is the best firmware for my unit ?    :rolleye:

Just need to get POI's and Cameras, the search continues  :pomppomp:

No responses  :signLOL:

Well the Sat Nav has now been updated and the 4120 Firmware works a treat.
V10 Maps has been uploaded and I have also updated the 510 with a nice Gti splash screen.

Job done  :happy2:
