Door Rubber Seals
« on: February 28, 2014, 07:11:54 pm »
Hi, my rear passenger door seal the one on the bottom of the door has come unstuck - does anyone know what is best to stick it back down with so that it gives a good seal and doesn't let water in - thanks

I had the same problem about 12 months ago, and I used impact adhesive and I haven't had any problems with leaks or it coming unstuck.

This is the stuff, you should be able to pick a tube up for well under a fiver.  :happy2:

I just did this to a mates car the other day, just used superglue gel

Worked a treat, impact adhesive should be fine as suggested, poor design by vw for seals to be just stuck o
