R32 exhaust on my Tdi
« on: March 01, 2014, 08:19:46 am »
Guys, I've changed over to the R32 rear valance and now have 2 beautiful holes waiting for stainless tips from the 32 exhaust,

My question, which is probably a no brainer but other suggestions accepted.

Option 1 - http://torquetechnique.co.uk/wordpress/ do custom stainless and are in Salisbury. Mick will build it to my car and how I want it to sound etc for £250+vat

Option 2 - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VW-GOLF-V-5-MK5-Sport-Muffler-Exhaust-Rear-Silencer-Back-Box-GTI-TDI-GT-R32-/310866250822?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item4861128c46 then get a mechanic mate to fit it. Part and fitting approx £280

I'm not really after performance increase or noise, just want it to look good! What size tips will fill the holes best?

I've just done the same on my GTI mate.  I went for the BCS R32 cat back it looks awesome.

Bit too noisy and pricey though George

Got it off eBay buddy. Already in reflex silver too! £165 delivered. Not sure where it's from originally but it's a good fit!

It's up for £400 and it's not noisey at all, you wouldn't even realises you had a miltek on

The only thing I didn't like is the back box sitting so low, but that's only because I'm on air and can't go all the way down on the rear
