REVO vs Custom Code
« on: March 01, 2014, 10:38:57 am »
Well I'm finally gonna take the plunge and go for a dpf removal and remap for my gt tdi 170.

I have a choice of 2 places.  One does Revo, the other Custom Code.  Just wondered what peoples experiences are with these and whether there is any noticeable difference between them?
As things stand I'm more inclined to go for the Custom Code as the place who do it have a top reputation and specialize in VAG and prestige cars whereas the other place is more synonymous with Jap cars...

Before you go for a dpf removal think carefully about what may happen at your next mot.

If the car is a PD170 engined car then REVO dont offer mapping for it anyway.

If its a PD170 I would recommend a guy who goes under the name of K-Tune (Jamie Kilner) he ONLY maps the PD170 he doesn't touch anything else.

Ive had Custom Code and Shark Performance on my old PD170 wouldnt recommend Custom Code at all
