Those. I have just bought those, but I have a question. Do I have to buy longer bolts or spigot rings?

These were fitted to an A4 , speak to the seller and he might include the rings/bolts  :happy2:

Spigot rings definitely, they're only £5 on EBay though.

As everyone said spigot rings, I'd highly doubt you'd need new bolts.

Cool, thanks everyone. I'll get my hands on some aluminium spigot rings. He said he will send some longer wheel bolts, but this doesn't include a locking bolt, which I will need.

Another thing: current wheel offset is 51 with width of 225, new offset is 44 with width of 235. Will I need spacers?

You won't need spacers as these will cause rubbing on the arches.

As it is, (as long as your suspension isn't too low) you should be ok with 235 tyres on the 18x8.5J ET44 (the offset will look really good tbh and fill the arches nicely)

However you do know they are "Winter" tyres?

Have you got other tyres to go on?

225 tyres will give you a bit more clearance

Hi mate, going from your current wheel spec of 7.5' wide with a ET51 to 8.5' ET44 your new wheels will stick out 20mm further all round. Add 235s into the mix will be a few mm further, so you might get a bit of rubbing on the fronts, maybe the backs.

Are you lowered at all?

I was running 15mm spacers on the back with my Monzas and with 225 I was ok.

Might need to replace tyres.

Si

My Merc wheels are 18x8.5 et44 and I can guarantee you will rub with 235 width tyres on.
You need 205/40s or 215/35.

I wrote a guide which actually outlined this wheel size exactly. Nearly all Mercedes wheels require longer bolts. You need to measure thread sticking out of the back of the wheel and buy appropriate length bolts to maintain this length. Or your wheels will fall off and you will die.

Wish people would read up on these things..  :sad1:

Thanks man, just reading through it now. Very useful.

To answer questions, I am not lowered and I do not have spacers.

Bit of a rough idea but if get a tape measure and hold it next to your side wall of your tyre, then measure out 20mm (2cm) and this will give you idea of how far the new wheels will stick out.
