Mk7, I'd find it hard spending £20k+ on a previous model Golf, which itself had an engine from a previous model
Used to have Edition 30 - number 009 and a GT TDI 140.
Now have an S4 B8 Avant (stage 2)

After Top Gear on Sunday night, I'd choose the MK7 with PP.

Seemed to go around corners like a Megane RS265 which is something VW have never really let the previous Golf GTI's achieve from factory.

I love both. But as above I'd hold out for the ed40, the way all the new models are looking should be very special :happy2:

You need to look harder, I've recently seen Ed35 for £18k and mk7 gti in red non PP at £22k both from VW dealers

I mention a golf r not ed 35. Ed 30 to Ed 35 would not be much of a change

Looks pretty clear you asked about an ed35 or mk7 gti to me...

Deciding between 2012 ed 35 21,995 or new gti mk7 27,875 spec the same?
