This is the same choice i'll be making with my next car.
If I find a DSG GTi with the paddles behind the steering wheel, then I think I'd be inclined to take it.
But I know i'll miss the classic feeling of the manual gear changes. So I'm really stuck on what to do.
I guess it's a case of really weighing up the strengths and weaknesses of both.
I.e. DSG has no clutch issues, but can have mechatronics trouble.
No stress in traffic with a DSG and can do more with remaps without having the costs of clutches to deal with, with a good map and a DSG map, the car will get some good gains.
