If it were me, as the car has been stood for a year i would give it a complete service including DSG. Do the full service yourself and take it to a specialist for the DSG service.

I would also consider getting the brake fluid changed.

What condition are the tyres in, any cracks?

Checkout euro car parts for oil and stuff. Use Catrol edge 5/30 fully synthetic it's worth it

Given there is a 40k interval on DSG oil I wouldn't bother doing it again for a while. However the car itself will be due a proper service and as above check the tyres etc

tyres can have flat spot if standing in one position for a year

euro car parts for oil and stuff.

Use Catrol edge 5/30 fully synthetic

Can't remember how long it takes petrol to emulsify, you should should be ok with just topping up the tank with fresh fuel.

Don't forget to change the oil or at least check it before starting the car.

I'd do an oil change just to be safe, gearbox should be sweet for another 12 months or so.

I'd also do the normal maintenance stuff, check the DV and throw on a revision G if it's looking tired, also check the PCV.

I'd probably throw a set of plugs and a new follower in just for peace of mind and the fact it doesn't cost a lot.

And then give it a good run and enjoy it. :)
