I'm looking at these for mine.... Have you had Goodyear and changed to the vreds?

I've got a full set of Michelin PS3's for sale, all 6-7mm, £300. Only selling as I've gone for 19"s otherwise I'd def keep them, they are really good tyres.

I've only ever run PS3's and love them. The two tyres people tend to go for are PS3's or GY F1. If you want some cheaper tyres the one of choice seems to be Vreds

I had eagle f1s on my old golf and they were great. I now have the sessantas on my gti and they are great in the dry and good in the wet, but in the cold there seems to be bugger all grip! Probably down to the summer tyre compound, not bad for the money. Would go for the super sports when they're available as they're supposed to be good!

Michelin pilot sport 3s are sold in cost co for 119 pound a tyre at 225/40/18 which is the right size and a good price to be fair at new. Maybe I misread that the sizes are rare whiles skimming but yeah if that helps

sessantas are good for the money, but they go off quick well well before there on there last legs

go michelin supersport if you want the best road tyre

Michelin PS3's I find are best for me

I really can't fault the Pirelli P Zeros I have had on mine over the last 5 years. They wear pretty quickly but offer great dry and wet performance

Michelin PS2 for me.  They are still available, and are still being manufactured by Michelin - dispite what the likes of ATS and ThikFit tell you.  The PS2 is better than the PS3 - and this was discussed at length in the review threads.

Goodyear F1 Assy, Dunflop ShyteMaxx and Vredstein all have weaker sidewall construction compared to Michelin - hence why they all go 'off' far sooner than the stiffer sidewalled Michelins.

Soft sidewalls is my old gripe with the goodyears. Brilliant grip though.

I have Pilot Super Sports on order and having spoken to Michelin I've been advised that I should expect to see them between the middle and end of April. When they arrive I'll have a full set of 7 month old Goodyear F1 A2's for sale. They have 7mm+ of tread on them. #justsayin'

fitted f1 assy 2 today to my fronts rears still got 7 mm on  so left bridgestones on the rear , car feels nice but not had chance to push them yet , good grip so far and i have 338 ft lb of torque to play with
