Just looking round for GTI or an Edition 30, I came across this, Is the spec of this car and mileage warrant the £9,895?

Also, Does anyone know of this car?

From what i can see the options it has: highline display, MFSW and armrest, all other bits standard.

There is the 'edition 30' badge been added to the front grill GTI badge, it also looks to sit a little lower so maybe on springs?

I drive past this garage / car every day. Its been on sale since before xmas - that's when I first noticed it.

The spec looks ok, the black VW badges and Edition 30 Grill badge indicate its been owned by an enthusiast. For the price, I would expect xenons though...

So what you think then guys? Overpriced?

Seems a bit weird to me an ED30 is sat there for over 3 months and is still trying to get near £10k.

What's the garage like where its at?  Does it a lot of other cars?

Edition 30 prices are a little unfathomable in any case, saw a candy white DSG with xenons and a sunroof for sale the other day for £14k   :stupid:

KO4 & Half Leather if you boil it down, oh yes exclusivity theres only 2500 built, you can get a solid spec Mk6 GTI for similar.

Don't get me wrong its a great GTI with factory planning permission for mods but it aint worth 4k over a standard GTI which is what some people think...

It's a manual so about 1500 above what I would estimate.

If it was DSG it would of gone for the asking long ago with the additional spec.

You will always pay more from a dealer than in a private sale - up to £1000 more typically for something like this.

The spec is good, and from looking around at others on Autotrader is about right for the price.

There are lower mileages ones in colours that most people find more desirable, however without the spec of that one going for that sort of price.

I was looking at that exact one, but its  been for sale for a while . . . .  :scared:

I don't see much additional spec other than highline and MFSW.

Mine would be perfect for you OP, but only 3dr.
Used to have Edition 30 - number 009 and a GT TDI 140.
Now have an S4 B8 Avant (stage 2)

I paid a little more with 49000 miles, RNS510  and a few extra features privately.

It's only worth what someone wants to pay, for me it was and is a fantastic car and the condition could only be described as exemplary with full VW service and a recent cam service  :happy2:
