Haven't been here for a while now, but the time has now come for me to make my way down the slippery slope (not too steep i hope
)
My car has now covered 30k and the suspension seems to be on the soft side, so I was thinking of either upgrading the springs or going all out on a set of coilovers - both by VWR. Mark from VWR has assured me that their suspension setup used on their demo car does not compromise on comfort and the car can be used on a daily basis without shattered bones, but after reading this thread i'm more inclined to go for the springs now and maybe change to the coilovers at a later date, as I'm still afraid i'll compromise too much on comfort if i go for coilovers. A test drive in their demo car is on the 'to do' list so that may change things
.
Just a slight reservation I have is this; I have heard that changing the springs only can put more stress on the dampers and reduce their life span. Is this true?
