Anyone driven new Clio Renaultsport?
« on: March 12, 2014, 07:22:47 pm »
As title, anyone driven one and what's it like compared to the Golf Gti?  How does the auto box compare?

I'm sure build quality is not as good as Golf but is is a marked improvement over the previous model?

Seems to offer good value for money (5 doors, autobox, performance etc) and now seeing a few low mileage used examples but yet to see one on the road!

I had a clio 197 f1 r27 the only thing I miss is the handling over the ed30, Had 4 Renault and heeps of problems the clio sport went threw 3 gearboxes in 30 k miles
Hope this time it's robust

A good few members from clio197.net have went for the new Ford fiesta st with mountune over the clio turbo

I thought the Renault sports were meant to be reliable. Built in a completely different factory to the normal renaults I think. I'd have my 7year old ed30 over one everyday still tbh :happy2:
