Hi just wondering if any1 can give me help my mate has a Audi s3 2007 basically same engine as a ed30 he fitted a itg induction kit but it doesn't flutter and doesn't really make much noise! It also holds revs every now and then and he says it seems to do that since he had it mapped to stage1 any one got ideas for any of these problems cheers

forge recirc gives the noise combined with the itg.. and dunno what you mean about holds revs? the revs do take awhile to drop for example say being reved at idle.. its because of the heavy dmf.. but still shouldnt be to excessive

Sorry I mean it will just sit at like 3k revs if your driving then coming to a stop or if you rev it at times the revs won't drop! He's got a uprated diverter valve would that stop it from fluttering???

Dunno... Why do you want it to flutter? Is it manual or dsg?

We'll I always thought by putting on a induction kit would make it flutter so he is thinking there is something wrong with his car he also likes the flutter noise

Well get rid of that for a kick off....  :happy2: Those things are a waste of money.

This man Speaks the truth.

It will give some fluttering, But a good map should not be fluttering or little to no fluttering.
Otherwise it indicates the tune is  pushed on the lower RPM near the limit of the compressor wheels surge or peak line.
I believe has been stated in the past.
