testing speed sensor and cable
« on: March 09, 2014, 02:33:28 pm »
ive recently replaced a wheel speed sensor but the problems come back.
ive had it on vcds and it shows that theres no reading from the sensor.
is there anyway to test the sensor or the cable? i dont fancy spending another £50 to be left with the same problem

If you are certain the fault is the wheel speed sensor which you have replaced and the error codes have been cleared I would recheck the connector and it is installed correctly. Don't rule out a faulty sensor. Is it a genuine VW part?

I had a speed sensor fault. Changed it and the fault was still there. Turned out to be a corroded abs ring
