HDD through MDI
« on: April 14, 2014, 12:05:40 am »
Might have misunderstood this.

Im running an old iPod MDI with a RNS510, but I've long since filled it. So I have filled my external HDD with my iTunes library and none of the m4a files play, so, can the MDI unit play these from a HDD or not?

I have a sh*tload of Apple lossless files but as far as I can tell it's not playing any m4as. Do I need a firmware upgrade or am I stuffed?

Cheers

I use my portable hdd 500gb on my rcd 510 and it had thousands of songs in it and it works fine with mp3 format I also used it in my gfs which was also rcd510 so may have to change files ?
Hopefully this gives you an idea
