mk5 gti brake bleeding?

currently got some new pads and braided hoses to put on is it a pain to bleed system after or does it do it self?

also fancy changing the color off my calipers...currently red ..on a grey car with matching wheels...theirs a golf pictures somewhere with im sure orange ? they look quite cool any opinions?

As for the bleeding, normally no problem, it really depends on your mechanical aptitude and tools available!

Well gravity will do the job but your mate will keep you right - tell him to bring all of his certificates if he lets the system totally empty - as you then may need access to VCDS tool.

okay he wasn't sure entirely that's why i was asking ha his certificates? lol and oh great havent got a that tool lol

You should really cycle the abs before a bleed. This requires the diagnostic VCDS tool.

Only seen that requested "in writing" if you let the system run dry!
