Rear boot handle removal

Hi I was thinking of painting my rear boot handle and vw badge same colour as the car, has anyone taken one off are tried this how easy is it??? thanks :happy2:

There are two screws, one in each of the handles, then literally a case of popping off the cover on the inside.

Then there will be three screws & a cable on the inside holding the badge on. undo these & twist the badge slightly it will come out  :happy2:

Not the greatest description but its pretty easy  :happy2:
