Free Map v10 for the solution
« on: March 20, 2014, 07:39:41 pm »
Hey Guys

I bought a copy of v10 Maps from ebay, however I want to burn a copy off for a mate at work rather than to loose mine.
I have a Verbatim dual layer DVD - disc and Nero 7, however the copy I made does not work  :fighting:

I simply copied the DVD using the DVD copy feature on Nero at a low burn speed.

Any ideas? I will send a copy of the v10 Maps to anyone that gives me the winning solution  :pomppomp: :pomppomp:

Bloody discs are expensive so I don't want to be burning lots

Thanks one and all  :happy2:

This for RNS or MFD2?

Edit: You also say you use a DL DVD- if thats correct, i believe you need to you use a DL DVD+ and have burn speed as slow as possible.

Well the RNS should play copy DVD's fine. So just use a DL DVD+R disc and burn as slow as possible. If still doesn't work it could be the burner your using.
Also you should burn with IMGBurn its free and the best image burner there is

Different media makes a difference. I burnt a load of coasters with Verbatim discs, but as soon as I swapped to Aone Plus discs it managed it straight away.
Sarcasm for free. Anything after that can only be considered as a bonus.

I don't mind sending a couple out, I have borrowed a windows PC to burn these discs as I'm not sure if the Mac software will do the same job or not.

I need to buy some discs therefore there will be a small fee for this, but first let me try and burn a working copy.

I've had the same with verbatim that everyone bangs on about, I'll try those instead. Out of interest what ver is your RNS?

Mine's a C revision, but I had the same V10 maps loaded on my old A revision. As for media, I use DL DVD +R. As said earlier, I thing the DVD -R are not so good either.
