Currently looking for a mk 5 Gti manual, a budget of around £5,500
Would be interested to hear peoples thoughts on the things to look out for when buying the car

Welcome.. covered on the forum a lot before but usual things ,,,

Diverter valves
pcv valves
cam followers
rusty wheel arch
engine not overly tappety or rattle
any electronic faults,
just usual mk5 things really!
