How good can these things handle?

ARBS, H&R are a good choice, I have the Autotech and their bracket/bushes aren't very good so you'd be best to add a Superpro bush/bracket to both ARBS, another £100 ish on top of the £450 for the ARBS. IIRC H&R ones are less than £400 and their bushes are ok.

Engine mounts, Vibra-Technics. At least the lower engine mount and Dogbone bush, around £200. Add another £350 for side mounts plus fitting. Don't think THS do side mounts anymore.

You'll also need a decent fast road 4 wheel geometry set up.

Think i'll go H&R and these will be my first upgrades, will chuck an anti-lift kit in there too.

Regarding engine mounts, all the reviews on here say they increase noise and vibrations alot. Anyone got any experience on this? The car still needs to be used daily and for the odd long trip, so I don't want anything too over-bearing.

Ok, so I got my bonus through at work, seems the business did ok last year. As a result I have £1500 disposable income to blow on the car.

Advice seems to be ARBs and SALK first, and this would make sense to me. Seeing as H&R ARBs are c£350 and SALK is £166, what else should I be looking at doing with the remaining c£1000?

I would say a BBK, AKS 340mm Aston Martin kit for £1200. However, I only have the OEM Pescaras which I believe these wouldn't fit under!?!?! Does this mean I should be looking at some TD Pro Race and some nice sticky tyres as a next step?

I would be buying coilovers personally, then you can fit everything and get it all tracked up rather than do it again 3 months down the line

The Aston BBK looks the nuts, if I didn't already have a BBK I'd have them on my car now! If you want to keep your Pescara's then just get some 10mm spacers, more than enough room for a BBK or get new wheels. TD's are light and look great (who dosnt like TD's), I went for BBS VZ's for the OEM Pescara look but with 13mm more room inside for a BBK.
