BOOT LED STRIP

Installed two led strips to brighten up the boot a tad! Took 30 mins :) happy with result!

Fairly easy! Pulled out the boot light and removed them bulb.
Got some speaker wire from halfords, connected to pos and neg connectors on the bulbs holder as there are 2 convenient holes where you can wrap some wire through and around.
Cut a short amount of wire for the LED strip I stuck on the light side of the boot, then joined again or same terminals a longer piece which I threaded under the boot carpet and to the other side. Used electrical tape and double sided tape all from halfords! In total I spent £12 including LED strips! Love the end product!

Nope nothing, I expected to, but boot lights are not included in bulb out errors I don't think. Only exterior light failure give off bulb errors.

Excellent Tim, just ordered 5M cool white led strip from ebay, coming from HK so may take a while, bargain tho at £3.42 for 300 leds.
Pictures when they arrive.
