ipod adapter not working
« on: March 23, 2014, 01:46:55 pm »
Hi, got the MP3 radio, which has ipod connection within the arm rest...been working fine, now stopped working...

It doesn't power up or show connection on stereo.. any ideas?

I have pulled out the arm rest insert, and the connection is ok...

I have read that these things can be troublesome....

Cheers

hmm, is that the actual connection to the ipod? i see it has a few screws holding it in, is it worth taking it all out to have a look?

from what I've read before its actually the connection on the bottom that connects to the loom

hmm ok, cheers...i've had it apart, plugged back together etc..its covered in a foam sleeve...its the sort of connection which wouldn't come aprt easily, but a dry joint is possible i suppose....

i'll investigate it...
