Hello from the Northest and a tuning question
« on: March 24, 2014, 02:18:52 pm »
Hey All,

Been reading for a while and picked up some great tips from members thank you.

My name is Dan and Ive had my Ed30 for a few months now. I will post some pics as I go.

Obviously I will have a few questions on the search for seasoned knowledge. The first being Revo or Sedox? I have read mixed reports across the web and would likesome clarification? I'm heading to PD tuning on Friday for the 4 hours test software and would like some advice on both maps?

Thanks

I'd recommend big fish tuning up in North Yorkshire been loads of good reviews on other forums

http://www.bigfishtuning.co.uk

If you are a member on vagcars.co.uk you also get a discount

I had my car done at pd tuning and never had a problem but the recent reviews have put me off going back tbh

Where about are you located?

I live about 5 minutes away from sedox tuning so it's very handy. I talked to the guys this morning and they seem to know their stuff, but I am also a little sceptical due to some bad press..

Welcome.

I have also had maps by John at BFT numerous times and I bet I'm a bit further away than you are.
Used to have Edition 30 - number 009 and a GT TDI 140.
Now have an S4 B8 Avant (stage 2)

Thanks for the update. I spoke to r-tech tuning today and he filled me in with some info as well. I posted another question in the tuning section which is a little more relevant. r-tech seem to get very good feedback.
