Noticed a whizzing noise when switching the AC on...what could it be?

Sure its not just the normal sound of the aircon been switched on? unless its usually 100% silent?

If it sounds like darth vader in the dash it's apparently the high pressure aircon switch. You will have that noise for a few days weeks till the gas is all lost then no sound and no aircon. New switch and a re gas is needed. Search the forum for other posts about it
