Your induction kit surely has a filter already, Or am I missing something?
I am no expert but it is the Filter inside the engine cover that needed replacing after 1000 miles due to new engine.
My Induction kit it replacing the standard air intake system
Think I have got it right
Actually just thinking about this I think I may be doubling up here.
First off I checked and it is actually the Oil Filter that needs replacing after 1000 miles so mistake there in thinking it was the Air Filter. So need to check if this is something I could do myself as opposed to the garage who are charging me 22.50+VAT for part and fitting so not sure if that is a good price.
Also I presume on the original air intake system there is no filter at the front where the air comes in but it uses the Air Filter which is under the Engine Cover. So by me replacing with a custom carbon air intake which has a built in filter, the engine one is not needed or it is there for a totally different reason?
