formulaclean:
Morning :)

looking at the revo pcv upgrade as i need a new pcv valve anyway.

DO you need to run a oil catch tank with this? or can you run without?

what are the pros and cons

bacillus:
The fixing plate for the pcv revamp is different to the one for the catch can kit.

Pikey Motorsports:
no you dont need to run catchcan.. there are 2 different pcv plates 1 has outlets for catchan if you want to run one, the other doesnt if you dont

Is there any reasons that you shouldn't use the PCV delete over a full catch can system? Thinking of doing this myself.

56OctyVRS:
Both in my opinion and experience are  not needed. My car performed better with the latest pcv valve. The pcv delete will stop any issue of a pcv failing but wont stop the recirculation of oil in the air and neither will a catch can. Under boost the rear pcv valve vents the pressure back into the Intake and that is where the majority of the oil on the intake valves is from. Id stick with the oe pcv as race cars in the VW race series use them with no issues and their engines are used to the extreme during a race.
