MK6 steering wheel conversion to a MK5
« on: April 11, 2014, 09:12:43 am »
Is it possible? I Emailed a guy on Ebay & he says I need a steering wheel control module too.

So it is a massive job and a lot of heartache? My way of thinking at present is a comfy cockpit with nice sound before I turn to engine mods

Cheers

Did this to my old GTI you'll need the mk6 wheel with airbag, CH steering controller module, possibly a new slip ring depending on which one you have now and a new cruise stalk if you have that fitted as some old ones won't work

Once all that's fitted needs coding up and doing standard stuff like a short drive to set steering limits etc
