Golf gti K04 upgrade or ED30?

hi, i need someones advice as im in 2 minds about getting an ED30, i currently have a golf gti mk5 with 89k on the clock, will it be ok doing a K04 upgrade with that millage or should i just get a ED30? i dont know what route to go down

i think about 2k to convert, i already have the parts but will it be safe to do on a 89k milage car? for around 9.5k i can get an Ed30 with less mileage, im just worried about the mileage

iirc martziniuk did the k04 upgrade on his car that had more mileage on it than yours.

K04 is only good upto stage 2+ IIRC

Why would you want anymore than stage 2+ in a FWD car though?


A stage 2+ K04 is more powerful than a stage 2+ K03, so stage 3 has nothing to do with it

how powerful is a stage 3 normal GTI that has k04 upgrade?
