Ok, so I traded my Golf GT TDi in for a Škoda the other day. The Golf had come to a point where I needed to spend a significant amount of money on it, or sell/part-ex. West End Škoda gave me a decent value for my Golf so a deal was struck.

Photos below, but it's bog standard for now. I got a little ahead of myself the other day and almost had a Darkside Downpipe, BCS Exhaust and Remap bought, before I even had the car!!
The usual photo, bog standard:
Detailed shot of the Xenons. Seriously bright (my first car with Xenons) and I love the Dynamic/Bending function:
A little bit of coding, set the DRLs to dim to 50% when the indicator is on:
Sneak peek of the interior. Better shots will come with the better weather:
Been busy on eBay already!!
Please note that the front badge part number is not correct!
but will I'll be able to coerce it on. Skoda do make a perfect fit badge.
The part number is identical to the rear badge but the 'suffix' is 'AAUL' instead of just 'A'.
Settling for a Stage 1 Remap just now. Waiting to hear back when I can book it in. Will also opt for front and rear HEL braided hoses to help the brakes. Pads are new front and rear so will leave them in for now.
Also got my eye on a LED Columbus Unit to replace the Kenwood. I like the Kenwood but would rather have the OEM unit. So I'll have a Kenwood DNX520vbt for sale soon.
With the Columbus I'll look at putting in the OEM Bluetooth. Got a good idea what I want/need and have half the bits sitting in my garage already! Amazing what you can acquire over time.
Review of the comparison Columbus vs Kenwood to come soon.
Any mods on the above Standard spec will be listed in the post below.
