Carista OBD2 android app, Airbag light reset
« on: April 02, 2014, 10:02:52 am »
Downloaded Carista android app last night to reset my airbag light using a Bluetooth ELM327 adapter,
http://www.caristaapp.com/

Had to buy the full version for £6 which at first I was a little annoyed about but it indeed did as it said and now don't have an annoying airbag light on my dash,

But to my surprise it also let me enable the auto lock/unlock function, and change my coding so now one press of the key unlocks all doors and boot.

Admittedly it only has a couple of things you can change but for £6 it nowhere near the price of VCDS which is the only other program that can do these adaptions.

It doesn't do any live date but I still use Torque Pro on my phone for that or my Race Diagnostics Liquid 2 gauge.

Do you still have an annoying fully functioning airbag though?

I'm slightly confused by your reply but if you mean has the airbag light stayed off, Yes it has  :happy2: as I did the seat plug wiring mod before I reset it.

I think his reply was meant to be sarcastic but omitted to put a smilie at the end thereby causing confusion.
