Is my Ed30 broken ? It's too fast!!!

Now whilst making good use of a private airfield my speedo showed 160mph and with no signs of slowing, it was still pulling and wanted more.

The scary thing is it didn't hang about getting there either  :sick: and I ended up braking and slowing down out of pure fear.

Is this normal ?

I have strong doubts about my Eddy, I suspect it might be mapped but the discerning gent from which I purchased the car from assured me that the car was standard.

I'll be booking in it at M Tech for a Dyno + Remap so I guess I'll find out soon, bejesus it's fast  :driver:

Mate, my standard gti K03 shot up to 140 the other day and surprised he he'll out of me

Had my standard gti up to 160mph on the speedo a few times in Germany. Sat Nav shows a more realistic speed of 150 though.

Blimey, I best keep an eye on my footwear, I suppose im discovering a new lease of life after trading my clumpy 4x4.
