I understand what ur all trying to say and it makes sence. I don't drive the car hard just a little blast now and then so I'm guessing it's ok for now but I will be looking into getting one just wanted to see if it was a must have with remap. So I was thinking the s3 ic would that be the best option or what else is out there?
You could leave your standard cooler in place and add to that with the Forge Twintercooler.

^^^^ WAGNER one does look good, "claims" some 10.c cooler than the THS and 30.c less than the OEM.

Shark's Mk6 saw 30bhp gains before and after fitting, astonishing.

Running a THS cooler and removed the aircon, so much more flow getting to the cooler now there's nothing blocking it. When you look through my grill all you can see is intercooler. :)

^^^^ Removing the Aircon crossed my mind but i just know I'll miss it come summer time. Does look like its restricting the flow to the IC a touch.

THS on mine behind the Aircon.....

Aircon has never bothered me, but I know a lot of people do like it.

If your aircon rad is worn and the fins are bent then it really does restrict the flow to the cooler too.

^^^^ It was all the thing back in the day! Doing a "Search" (mad as it seems) really does work. I bet there's even a few answers re DV's but I'm only guessing!

I removed all the aircon mate.

I think removing the aircon and fitting a twintercooler would be a bit overkill. You would be better just removing the aircon and fitting a THS etc..

Cool cheers for the advice I'll remove all the air con and stick with the s3 fmic unless a bigger/better intercooler comes up for sale :)
