Awesome
« on: April 05, 2014, 10:04:37 am »
Morning gents

Once I return home at the end of this month, I'm hopefully going to pull the trigger & purchase a MK5. Now having owned countless modded MK1 &2's, I always used Awesome as at the time they were the only one in the mid 90's modding Golfs, but now there are a range of places. Thing is I had a Corrado two years ago & I wasn't best pleased with the work they carried out.

Now I have plans for my new car, and Awesome are literally on my doorstep, but where are the other alternatives in the North West, or was my Corrado a one off & they are still the dogs for modifications?

Any help, mucho appreciated!  :happy2:

Cheers

Adam

Plenty of places around the North West, Votex in Congleton is one.

I've used awesome for servicing and they are very good. They use the right fluids, throughly check the car over (with report) and use VCDS for fault codes.

The fact that they are always busy with every VAG car on the planet (lots of R8's & other high-end Audi's there) they are obviously trusted to look after people's pride & joy.

I'm booked in for a thermostat replacement on Tuesday  :happy2:

I used to go there when Jim had a shed up in Rawtenstall many moons ago, doing my MK1 16v conversion

The new place is only 15 minutes from where I work, so it is handy. Just my Corrado never seemed the same after going in for some bits & a full service.
