Bilberry Wheel cleaner review

Well, my 5L of Valet pro BB Wheel cleaner got an outing yeaterday and I got round to using it.
My wheels were pretty dirty due to the super wet weather and filthy raods.
Sprayed my wheels with a mix of 3-1, left it to soak whilst I sprayed the others.
After sprayng the last wheel I then just went over it with a paint brush, getting into the nooks and crannies, n' all that.
Resprayed after my nooking n' crannying then hosed off after the last wheel was sprayed.
What can I say about the results......Fantastic! The wheels were sparkling and looked like they'd knock 1sec of the 0-60 time.
Am not saying how I did it was the right way but i certainly worked for me.
Would I recommend it....Yuuppp!

I have been using this stuff for at least 2 years now and I think its brilliant too, a little goes a long way so even after all this time I have approx 50% left from the 5 litres, and that's after giving mates some as well in their own smaller bottles!

I'm a fan too, works really well at lifting off the standard road dirt and brake dust. Follow up with the snow foam and it's more of a wipe for the wheels after

Yeah, its a quality product folks and your right...a iittle does go a long way.
Gonna try it on the missus's 20" alloys.
I did mention it to her yesterday and she asked if it would get the kerb marks out.......i promptly told to get back in the house.
Next up is my Gliptone leather cleaner then the old Collinite 476s wax.
Just waiting for it not to flippin rain.

Haha, yeah it's deffo Blood Red.
I did go in for a quick sniff to see what the Billbery smell was like.
Gotta say it never smelt of Billberies, well no Billberries i've smelt......thinking about it, maybey they wern't Billberies.

I'm still using the original bilberry formula from years ago ! I heard there was a change a couple of years ago and it wasn't as good ? I'm assuming it's back to its best now though! Which is good because I don't think my current supply will get me through summer !

Yep this stuff is top class. I have been badly neglecting my wheels - i feel ashamed at how little i seem to wash the car these days  when i first got her i was in this section of the forum daily without fail... Finally I felt enough was enough last saturday and that if i'd spent as much as did on getting them completely refurbed after some plonker made a complete mess of them a year or so ago i should care for them a bit more than i had been. So i gave them a spray of bilberry, let it soak for 5, then agitated with a brush and after that it was a simple wash with car shampoo (meg's mirror glaze) to get them looking like you could eat your dinner off them.

Only problem now is that the rest of the car is screaming out for a proper wash and not a wash out of a bottle like i do now and then with Meg's final inspection QD...

Once you start this cleaning malarkey there's no going back.

The problem with Bilberry is that it's cheap, yeah, but it's just not the best out there (in my opinion).
If you use it in bulk you can dilute it down.. so you can mix it 1:1 when you need to but nevertheless... I've used loads and I'm really liking Chemical Guys Diablo at the moment.
The ONLY issue with it is one of consistency, due to it's gel-like consistency you need to find a good spray head that will work well with it.
Aside from that, really good, smells lovely and is safe for all wheel finishes (apparently. I've not tried it on bare ally yet).

Just switched to it for the first time, currently using it at 3:1 and must admit I'm hugely impressed with it, I'll be buying more as it'll go a long way. Previously I've used AG clean wheels diluted down and that was good too but smells rank!

I used it today on the gf's zetec s alloys, followed by poorboys wheel sealant. They look factory fresh now. took the wheels offs to rotate them round so the insides were done too :)

I use it too. Outright cleaning in my opinion isn't quite as good as sonax if I'm honest, but you can get an XL bottle for the same price as two small sonax squirty bottles.
