Ah right, might give it a go today, weather is shocking and still on holiday with nothing to do!

Cheers

didnt take long at all, no real problems fitting or removing the old system

really really impressed to say its a 3" straight through its really subtle and with normal driving very oem sounding but when giving it some beans sounds really deep and well

no vids as yet will try n get sum today

heres some pics of it fitted

old system removed

new system out of car ready to fit

4 x 4 golf

new exhaust fitted

things left to do on the car:

coilpack recall once leeds have the coilpacks in
Cambelt and Water pump at Awesome on the 14th, will get them to fit the WALK also
Fit cruise control
get stage 2 map

Noticing much more power from the exhaust yet? It does say to drive steadily for the first 500 miles with a new exhaust on.....As if ANYONE does that!
Let us know how the tinting  goes, I have some spare lights and am tempted to do it out of boredom.

Such a perfect stance on the rear fella  :happy2: I wish mine sat just like that at the back  :indifferent:

Aren't you the only one on the forum with those Lambo wheels on a GTI? When I'm out and about, they're nowhere near as common as I thought they would be, which is fairly cool.

Some very good pics and I think the exhaust adds cosmetic value too.

Great build thread mate, some tasteful mods you got there!
Are your plates legal? I have some D banded pressed plates for shows but wouldn't mind some un banded ones for everyday use rather than plain 2d ones I have now and yours look subtly different.
Cheers.

Dubmeister make the legal pressed plates that a lot of us are running, can book online if you scan details and e mail them to them!

cheers, its only on some eibach springs with standard shocks, not sure about the wheels tbh im always unsure whether to change them or not, they need a refurb at the minute so will be looking into that next

well had a few problems recetly, wont go into them really but was an oil leak that didnt wana get fixed first time round, but it got there in the end so im still pleased, did make me think about selling the car or just returning it to standard but in the end decided to keep and keep it how it is.

had that fixed and all sorted and stage 2 re-installed, got the WALK fitted and must say i am very happy with how this stops and controls wheel spin.

gave the car a quick clean after nearly a week away and heres a few pics

drove home today for a football game and this was the effect the lovely summer has on our casrs

WALK kit fitted and very impressed, reduced wheel spin massively and handgles and grips better too

standard parts

and cleaned
