very impressed with the car, it really is a great all rounder, a mate had bought some carbon goodies for his turbo'd civic type r, so i said id take him for them as it was easier to take them off prior to the trip

so went over with 2 front doors and a rear boot, he was picking the same up but in carbon, some epic bargains for him

heres the car pilled up

was pleasently surprised and so was the lad

gave the car a clean on sat morning, i say clean but really it was just, full engine bay, all glass internally ready for winter, full interior clean and the just the wheels

not touching the paint work till i get myself another jet wash thn it will be cleaned and waxed for winter and not washed again till the better weather comes around again, it might get the odd snow foaming but nothing else

felt abit sad cleaning certain parts of the engine bay with cotton wool buds lol but got it all done

wheels

then nipped out and once again tyre pressure sensor came on so nipped to check the pressure and front passengers only had 20psi in so home and wipped it off to find a nice big nail in it

so this is how the car looks at the minute lols

hopefully get my toher one fixed today

got the other tyre repaired and refitted on monday, had both front wheels off to clean inside and out and cleaned the arches and sealed them.

Car had its MOT today, it failed, my rear brake light in the spoiler has broken so ordered a new one, pick that up tomorrow and will fit it this weekend.

Car will be re-tested on monday

theres always something lol

MOT passed on friday

new light was fitted, as seen below it clearly had water in it so thats why is wasnt working

booked a couple of days off this week, first dry day and the car will be getting a day spent on it, full winter protection, wheels off etc again then sealed and body work sorted, once ive done this and got a couple of layers of wax on i will not touch it over the winter

Looks great. You can't beat rolling road pics.

Have you taken your seat out and sat on the floor? :happy2:

had the car on the rollers today, its fair to say my current map is fugged

car peaks at 4k with 261bhp, then drops down to 200bhp straight away, car then progresses back upto 251bhp at the end of the rev range

it is deffo a mapping issue as the car is spot on mechanically apparently.

The map seems to either be requesting too much or not enough of either boost or fuel thus causing the massive drop when the car can't produce it

the car has a very limited power range and is very similar to a diesel like a power band

will be constructing a detailed email to bluefin over the weekend to send on monday first thing with my complaints, graphs and im also going to log the car at the weekend to help also.

i think im gonna aim to try and get the bluefin handset reset for free by them so i can sell it, to regain some money towards revo software

gutted is an understatement, just want a map thats right and will let the car perform how it should

Never get why people change there wheels for winter when there is no polished areas , dish , splits . Your red wheels are monoblocks and the weather won't do anything to them? Just my 2ps worth
