UPDATE

massive thanks to darren for the headunit and quick replys when i txt him during fitting

UPDATE

picked an rns510 up last night and got it fitted after football

here it is

taking old one out

old one out

then i hit a problem getting the antena's back in, as you can see below the new headunit had a single plug type for the two antenas but my original one had two seperate ones, a quick txt msg to darrnen sorted my problem, the plastic on the antenas was removed so they could both go in

new one

wires from the old one

back of old headunit

problem solved and installed, just the rest of the dash to follow

headunit in, dash bak together and few shots of the new headunit

cheers for looking, im loving the new headunit and think it transforms the dash to look at

and again a big thanks to darren  :drinking:

Tip Top Liver  :congrats: They're an immense mod eh?   Very very glad I purchased one and I'll never want to see it leave tbh. As an all round media center, they're awesome.

Looks like you did a tidy job as your climate controls and surrounds don't look scratched or dented, unlike mine

yeah deffo, got speed cameras turned on now and got used to it all ready, very easy unit to use, improves sounds quality as well i find.

I just used a very small knife to get the trims off and was very very careful, i did it at 9 last night outside so was very lucky as it was in the dark lol but yeah not one scratch i was pleased

How you got on since mate - any new mods?

Thought about an Ed30 splitter or you happy with yours?
I think it'd look the business on yours too as I was over the moon with mine. Got it for a good price too.

yeah got a few things waiting to go on the car had them a while tbh just not go round to fitting them

yeah i wouldnt mind an edition 30 splitter think it would make a big change to the look of the car, just a case of keeping my eye out for one

heres the recent updates

R32 front brakes
this

to this

will be goin on this week fingers crossed

DV valve
from this

to

cheeky sticker

OSIRR boost pod and newsouth boost gauge

I had my plate in the same place and felt as if it was restricting the air flow so I moved it and it ran much better!

Bits are looking good mate we just need to get them all fitted now!
