Ahhh, I'm glad someones done that Liver finally, the wrapping of the door panels. I've had the wrap for about 6 months but never go round to it yet and didn't know how to approach it lol!

How did you take the panels out gracefully?
Looks a great job btw. I don't think I could do them as well as I want to without taking them out properly.
That bit of glassy plastic is the only visibly scratched section on my car atm, got to be done  :signLOL:

BTW, rear badge looks bloody good too. Impressed  :happy2:

get them done mate.

To take them out you need to put the windows down
then on the window side of the billar peel back the window seal,
this will reveal two torx 20 screws, take these out,
then open your door and the pillars will slide straight out,
less than a 5minute job to remove and a fairly simple part to wrap as well with only the corners been the real issue to take care with. Hope this helps you, if you need to know anything else i'll try and let you know.

when the car goes in the bodyshop im going to have to remove all the arbon vinyled parts or they will perish when the car gets baked at 80 degrees once painted

heres the fitting of the boost gauge

battery fully out thn went through a grommit there for the pipe, was a pain to get through to say the least

tapped in for the boost pipe

cable tied to clean it up abit

battery back in, u cn see the pipe

inside where it went through to the drivers side

passenger side all back together

through to the vent

sorting wires out

when driving like this

you achieve this lol

and a video of it working last night, in 6th gear all the time having to slow for traffic on my private road

The stance is hottt fella

I'm glad you got that damage sorted out. Absolute kants use our highways which is a shame for us lot with cracking cars.
Looks top notch again though now :happy2:

The little touches like the boost gauge etc are quality and, - I've never had my MPG average over about 43 so 45 is an achievement!  :signLOL:

well havnt updated for a while

here is what ive bought since this thread

3" milltek slash cut back box and centre section, currently in storage at the gf's till i cn sort the sports cat out for it, im gonna use a local firm called tony banks to make me a 3" sports cat to suite as it is miles cheaper and they have a very good reputation around my area

car was very dirty due to spending a week on the m62 for work etc

Didnt use the car for over a week at xmas as was at the gf's and didnt take my car

got on with some things y'day i needed to do, changed all tyres round as fronts were just above legal so put them on the rear, this gave me chance to clean the arches brakes and wheels inside and out, polished up the rear calipers as they'd started to fade with age and the came up a treat. Didnt manage tog et any of my parts fitted that ive got lol nothing new there lol usually slow when it comes to gettin parts fitted once ive got them lol

WALK - still in boot
Tinted mirror repeaters - still in boot
Cruise Control - still in boot
Exhaust - still at the gf's

heres a few pics from the cleaning y'day

cleaned wheels, arches, brakes, engine bay and all interior, not touching outside paint bar number plate and lights due to all the crap on the roads

before

after

cheers will try and get around to gettin everything fitted very soon, only one im not sure on is exhaust yet, as not sure when it will be fitted

Did you do all the Carbon Skin stuff yourself?

How easy was it to do that bit either side of the centre console?

Ive got a load 3M Di-Noc stuff and dont wanna attempt it and got loads of creases in the corners.

Cheers

yeah id never used it before this was the first time using it when doing all the parts on my car, it needs time and patience but once you get going your fine, this part was the hardest by far and one side i had to do twice, its needs alot bigger sheet than you would think it would

i got my 3m carbon from underground graphics which when i looked around was the cheapest by far
