Im looking to replace my RCD300 with something a bit better. In an ideal world I would buy an RNS510 DAB and a bluetooth module, and Highline clocks and fit it all together with an iPod kit (or just use the HDD on the RNS) and be a very happy boy indeed. However, as I dont have much of a budget that option isn't available to me. Are there any aftermarket headunits that aren't crap that have Bluetooth phone prep, decent sound quality, iPod/iPhone 5 connectivity, Sat Nav would be nice, but not essential, AND that work with a MFSW?
Ive seen Erisin and VNS Veyron units on eBay but haven't seen one in action. Can anyone point me in the direction of some good alternatives or provide positive reviews on these units?

Ben, please see the Classifieds for my Kenwood Head Unit that has all of the features you have mentioned above. Best of all it is designed for VW so will fit in the slot for your radio (and connect properly) without any adaptors required.

No problem mate. Not sure if there are other head units out there that tick all the same boxes you are looking for. Give me a PM  in a week or two and see if it's still for sale. Cheers
