Only advice i could offer if your worried about them turning you down cause of suspension mods is maybe raise the ride height slightly to a standard-ish height and then go see about it.. Saying that, it seems other people have tried and succeeded alright so I'm sure you'll be fine.

Picked my GTI up from Parkway VW in Derby this afternoon. 2 new wings, painted, blended etc... 100% covered. Chuffed. Pics to follow.

Just been showing my friend my freshly lowered car and noticed one of my wings is rusted to f*ck! Paint has started chipping away and its coming into view. How do i get the ball rolling with this? Speak to my local dealer or VW Customer services? Also, Does the fact that i didnt buy the car new affect the warranty?

I used Darlington Lookers but the guy who deals with paint warranties etc handles both Teeside and Darlington.
I was booked in with RNB Auto which is near Eaglescliffe.
Got the car back same day (Wednesday) even though they asked if Friday was okay. Seemed a bit quick to me considering they asked if Friday would be okay. At the moment I'm happy except i don't think the colour match is the best they can do so i may call them up and ask them what the next step is to resolve this. Looks okay when looking at one side of the car but when your looking on top of it where it meets the bonnet i can tell quiet easy.

My car wasn't purchased new by me and i've managed perfectly fine along with many others on here.. To get the ball rolling just pop into your nearest VW Lookers Dealer and ask to see a paint technician about the rust on front arches of the car.

Shame about colour match, I've heard good things about RMB...

Got my 2 front wings and also a rear done too at Harrogate Volkswagen as it was all starting to rust! All under warranty!

Very good job, cannot tell it was painted.
