revision g or forge dv ??

what do people most recommend......revision g or forge dv ?   im going to change the standered d.v on my golf gti but not to sure which to go for ..what

If it does cause problems just get a Rev G

i always change it just before i do a stage one., but always had the seat leon cupra r 225 ....but reading up and the standered d.v usually cracks ..

Why?

It doesnt NEED to be changed mate.

if you want do it for peace of mind then go for a Rev G.

yea just piece of mind , just incase the standered one cracks after remap then at least ive already placed it mate

haha whats reason you say rev g and not forge pal ?

Rev G is a diaphragm DV so will not crack unlike the older Rev D, Rev G could split but I doubt it. It has been proven to hold boost with no problems at all. Many of us run them happily on our Stage 2+ cars with 360bhp and beyond. Forge is just a shiny, uber expensive (waste of money IMHO) alternative. Ones £35 and is fit and forget, the other is the best part of £200 and will require periodic maintenance.
