I wasn't very clear in my post,  the APR isn't great as you can't sell it on (although it's features will be useful for some people).

The Revo SPS surely could be dangerous in the wrong hands if someone decides to throw all the settings to 9 on a stock car in a bid to make it the fastest:surprised: although gives experts a bit of flexibility in tweaking the map for new mods.

It's impressive that Niki has managed to make map switching work well without the need for a gimmicky switching device IMHO  :happy2:

I see no difference. Ive got 3 per-defined settings on my REVO SPS for low medium and "balls-out" boost. I dont get how that is a gimmick. If you have your car mapped with REVO and get the SPS unit... if you then add a intercooler then you can up the timing/boost without having to piss around getting it remapped again.

Revo could do an APR/ R-Tech switching styley without charging £150 on top. Just seems like another way of making money to keep the company exec in high end Audi's  :signLOL:

I chat to niki because he knows his sh*t, and I would never say any different. Ive 100% respect for him and what he does. Tuning cars and hardware differences is interesting to me. I have in the past (at least 2/3 occasions) spoken to revo directly and had good customer service.... which is what Id expect from a 500quid map.

And yes it was a challenge.

I will give mine a go when the temps cool down and report back ;-)

She's done 70k , she gets used by me in anger at weekends or days off, I walk away from my vw Transporter work bus on days off.
I only said it because people say I don't drive it on here, but she does get used and abused , just carefully..especially with its oem brakes ..i need to go easy lol

Why don't you upgrade to the new lightweight OEM brakes? They save about 10kg per corner unsprung weight so will help your car go even quicker
