Reflex Silver GTI
« on: August 06, 2011, 04:24:22 pm »
Hello all,

Got this a few months back and I have been very happy with it. I was planning to keep it standard but I'm considering giving into temptation to colour code it and do some other things...  So far all I've really done is added the GTI seat inserts and GTI driver side footrest :)

I can take a picture later, but they were very easy to do. Just had make sure the surface was clean and stuck them on. I used some Uhu glue on the underside of the insert with a cotton ear bud and they have held OK since. I think it and the footrest are two very minor mods but made a big difference in appearance (IMO anyway).

Very nice, plus you don't seem to see very many silver GTIs about which is a bonus   :happy2:

Thanks.

I am still trying to build up a list of favourites in I.E to go to for bits and bobs...can be quite daunting.  First thing I am going to get is a black VW grille badge, if I can find where to get one from!

Bumpity bump... small update. Got a stage 1 revo remap on the GTI last week, and lowered it on a set of Eibach sportlines on Friday. DV and PCV valve are getting replaced later this week, so once that is done I plan on getting a rcd510, or some other double din headunit in, but that can wait until payday :)

Nice ride......by sound of it your cars going in the same direction as I want mine, standard with minor mods.

I've fitted some seat inserts and a rcd510 which makes a huge difference to the interior also fitted some super white head light bulbs and a few other bits. Soon I'm going to get a rev G diverter valve and eibach sportline springs fitted then next step REMAP. :driver: :happy2:

Cheers all!

On the box it said 25mm front 20 back but it seems a bit more than that. As far as the ride goes it feels just a bit harder than stock, but its not overly noticeable. I like it.
