Revision G DV Question
« on: April 16, 2014, 05:00:33 pm »
Is the Rev G diverter valve sturdier than the original Rev C on early Mk5 Gtis, ie. is the diaphragm bit itself beefier?  should it last longer than the Rev C ?

The revision G is the newest and strongest diaphragm type valve (like the revision C) but if you want it to last then get the revision D which is a piston type valve and should pretty much last forever.

Hope this helps.

Rev h is the newest - a different type to the g. G's are available and cheaper.

I didn't know there was a H now? I was at VW getting mine about 5 weeks ago and D or G were the only options.

I had a g fitted a few weeks ago. Happy with it not heard of any failures with them to date.

H exists, I believe it is more expensive but not sure what the benefits are...might be piston driven like the rev D.

There are many threads on this topic buddy

Question is, is it suited to run with the AXX, BYD , CDL, or the BWA variant.

stick with a G

No issues, but I would inspect it at least once year as part of your service regime .
