Mk5 rear badges
« on: April 16, 2014, 04:36:25 pm »
I have two spare rear badges - 1 standard quick close 3d (from 2007 car) 1 slow close flat with medium white worm (from 2005 car) At work we have just taken in a 2007 with slow close 3D badge in. Is it worth taking it off and replacing with one of my spares and if so which one? Or not worth it? Is there different desirability for them?
Sorry for possibly a stupid question......

For people in the know about the rear badges they are defiantly more desirable, when I upgrade my white worm one I ensured that brookesb32 (the badge man) hunted the market for the slow close 3D. So probably worth a swapping, could be worth a couple of quid more but easily more sellable  :happy2:

Thank you, I'll liberate it then!

Yup, swap out the slow close for your snap shut version. Much nicer feel, sound and operation of them. That might just be my OCD though...

Out of interest what is your line of work, I'm guessing something to do with car salvage?

I sell cars at a main dealer (not VW) - it was on one of the p/x vehicles
