Turbo chatter/flutter

In my old Focus ST fitting a paper cone filter have you a really nice chatter/flutter on throttle lift off. I know this is not proper turbo chatter (which is bad) but is the noise of the recirc valve dumping air back into the inlet.
Is it possible to get a similar sound with the GTi? Its a bit of a boring engine note.

Can be done but needs to be forced. Bring the car on boost, let off and very quickly blip the throttle. This closes the recirc valve again causing compressor stall (pigeon noises)
